The Hanse 400 turns the sailing world on its head. The owner's cabin is cleverly placed in the bow. In the Mediterranean this has long been the favourite concept, making for a quieter time when moored up and giving better headroom and more ventilation. But we went even further: We can transform the classic triangular berth forecabin into a diagonal sleeping area with a very special perspective - sitting up in bed and watching a flat screen entertainment centre which easily disappears into a locker when not in use.

Access to the engine room is easy without demounting the companionway steps. You move it easily and elegantly upwards, supported by gas-pressure struts. Hanse 400 is the boat of the year. Come on board by Royal Sailing!
