HANSE 630 WITH A NEW KEEL CONSTRUCTION.
the draught of the Hanse 630e is now hydraulically adjustable between 3.10 and 2.35 metres.
To the crews and owners this means additional access to smaller harbours and shallower waters without loss of the fine sailing characteristics of the Hanse - whether it is the Aegean or Antigua!
The new telescopic keel is now available as an option.
HanseYachts continues to pursue the target, which they set for themselves.
That is to find particularly innovative solutions for the owners. So far the draught automatically increased with the size of the yacht limiting access to many interesting sailing areas of the world unless the choice of shallower draught and a reduction in sailing ability was made. Solutions, such as the short or hoisting keels had either a negative effect on the speed and performance or required valuable space in the yacht's interior. In cooperation with the construction office judel/ vrolijk & co a new telescopic keel construction was developed, which does not require any space in the interior, and which enables the owners to cruise in the shallower waters of the world.
The largest yacht built in series in Germany ever provides more flexibility with simple handling at the same time. Even a small crew can sail this yacht safely, fast and now in significantly more areas. Above the water everything remains as it was - and under water there is more space!
HANSE 320 NOMINATED EUROPE'S YACHT OF THE YEAR
The Hanse 320 was nominated "European Yacht of the Year 2007/2008" in the category of up to 10 metres in ship length. The yacht is therefore one of the five most interesting newcomers in its class. This nomination is a recognition of the above-average sailing qualities and the new design
concept. The yacht designers von judel / vrolijk & co have achieved high sailing performance
in this yacht with an extraordinarily large sail area, fast lines on the ship under water, and
sporting T-keels.
With its tinted windows and side windows in the hull the "big little one" demonstrates in a
special way a new design line that also characterises the larger yachts from HanseYachts.
The elongated cockpits and the cleared deck make the yacht look much larger on the outside
than it really is.
This impression continues below deck. Plenty of space, clear, modern design, new types of
wood, a lot of light and two side hatches that can be opened, and in addition many innovative
ideas made by HanseYachts - all this has also convinced the journalists and editors.
The award is equivalent to an Oscar in the sailing world. Editors of leading sailing sport
magazines from eleven European countries vote on the best new yachts every year.
The prize winners of the competition will be announced from 19 - 27 January 2008 at the
Düsseldorf Boat Show. Until then it is question of fingers crossed!

THE NEW HANSE 320 AND HANSE 350
With two new models Hanse sets a new benchmark for the new sailing season. With the Hanse 320 and the Hanse 350 the boats of the compact category are not only upgraded but entirely new design approaches are realised. For the first time there will be yachts with lengths significantly below 13 meters, which possess all of the characteristic features of larger and more luxurious boats therefore providing a sensational example regarding the cost-performance-ratio. Both boats will be presented for the first time to the international dealer network at the Hanse dealer meetings between the 20th and 23rd July 2007 in Greifswald.
PERFORMANCE WINS ON THE HANSE 320 AND HANSE 350
The judel/vrolijk & co design engineers have bestowed above-average sailing characteristics upon the Hanse 320 and the Hanse 350. With sailing surfaces close to the wind of more than 52 sqm and nearly 65 sqm respectively and modern T speed keels these new models will outclass their "class mates" in every sailing trip and in every regatta. Huge space on deck and the stretched cockpits in particular, render sailing enjoyable and the handling of the boats becomes child's play. A self-tacking foresail, the mainsail complete with battens, an elaborate single-line reefing system and the standard maindrop system contribute to the above-average performance and simple handling. A feature of all Hanse yachts!
All fittings and trim devices are where they are really needed and avoid complicated and dangerous manoeuvres on the bow. With the location of the mainsail on the cabin roof before the companion hatchway the cockpit of the Hanse 350 is extended further, making it the largest cockpit of its category.
The installation of the navigation and performance instruments in the cockpit coaming near the helmsman is another feature of the sophisticated cockpit layout.
The Hanse 320 and the Hanse 350 are therefore extremely fast boats and with their wellbalanced sailing features suitable for sailing with smallest crews.
SPACE ON THE NEW HANSE 320 AND HANSE 350
No only on but also below deck the two newcomers score. They offer above-average living space and comfort for yachts of their sizes - space and comfort, which so far have only been available on boats from 43 foot (13 m). Flush-mount deck hatches and large, flush-mount salon windows in the body and in the hull provide more light than ever below decks. In particular, in the cabins, the side windows in the hull enhance the optical impact of the new yachts. Bright surfaces in the interior emphasize the luxurious spatial feeling: The use of new types of woods for the interior design (optional cherry styles) and for the floors (standard teak style) upgrade the new Hanse models even further.
With an entirely new concept for the interior of the Hanse 350, the space and the living comfort offered are raised to a new level. For example, the clever arrangement of the head with toilet in the bow area increases the living space below deck in all areas. The separate entrance to this luxurious head from the main saloon creates a comfortable and private owners cabin forward.
HANSE 430E - THE CURTAIN LIFTS FOR HANSE'S WORLD PREMIERE
HanseYachts will be presenting the new Hanse 430e on the Split Boat Show, which is connected to the Hanse 470e, 540e and 630e models both in external appearance and in its dimensions. It's a yacht which looks minimalist, modern and tidy and which offers an abundance of space, luxury and comfort inside. The 430e is one of Hans's range of premium models, as demonstrated by well-known features such as the standard epoxy hull, a double helm stand, the open stern, the tapered masthead, portholes flush with the deck, the light-band in the roof structure and many additional details. Another special highlight on a ship of this size is the self-tacking jib which is integrated into the deck and offered as standard equipment. This is a feature which enhances both the appearance and the performance of the jib due to an increase in the propulsion area. With the 430e, HanseYachts presents a "real" 43-foot yacht whose impressive interior space and excellent sailing characteristics are truly captivating and which is also easy to sail with a very small crew.

Hanse 540e - A German premiere to be proud of
Clear lines and an unembellished design - in short, a true North German beauty. That's the first impression which the new Hanse 540e makes on its audience. However, beneath the surface one discovers the finest in technology and design details. Portholes flush with the deck, a light-band beneath the salon roof and a black reflective window in the stern have the effect of bringing more light below deck. The interior boasts a luxurious ambience through the use of high-class materials and a bright, generous use of space. Another sensible luxury is the dinghy garage in the stern which allows the dinghy to completely disappear. When it comes to technology, the Hanse 540e is superbly equipped - the hull consists of an epoxy sandwich construction produced in a vacuum curing process, and the yacht also features an iron/lead keel for optimum sailing characteristics. The anchor system, completely integrated into the forward deck, retractable cleats and an electric primary winch is also provided as standard equipment.
Hanse 370 and Hanse 400 - More comfort for the cross-over concept
The Hanse 370, a further developed version of the 371, provides additional confirmation of HanseYachts' successful cross-over concept: maximum speed with maximum living comfort. The yacht has now been upgraded with numerous improvements. The bathroom is really a bathroom and no longer just a "wet room" thanks to the separation of the shower and the washbasin/toilet. There is a wide range of improved details to be found in the galley, for example the fridge which can be accessed both from above and from the side. The list of on-deck options has also been increased. The same applies to the Hanse 400, the award-winning "European Yacht of the Year 2006". Both models can be selected with the epoxy sandwich hull.
Hanse 315 and Hanse 342 - small yachts with a large portion of luxury
The HanseYachts entry-level models, the Hanse 315 - nominated for the "European Yacht of the Year 2007" award, and the one-metre longer Hanse 342, are presented with a new, modern interior design. Fundamental changes to the design, for example the standard warm water supply, have enhanced the yachts and provide an increased level of living comfort.
All Hanse yachts are distinguished by low maintenance costs and a high resale value. No compromises are made when it comes to quality: Hanse yachts are always developed to meet the highest standards and manufactured using brand name equipment and the very best materials. For example, epoxy hulls are standard equipment on most Hanse models. Thus, Hanse does not build off-the-peg yachts. Using the 'Individual Cabin Concept', future owners can themselves design the interior of their yacht from a range of combination modules. The highest standards of quality and safety are ensured by the GL Yacht Plus Certificate from "Germanischer Lloyd", a certificate carried by every Hanse yacht. A worldwide network of dealers guarantees Hanse owners comprehensive service and support. Each Hanse yacht's Control and Service Book records the high quality standard from the beginning on and documents the above-average resale value.
With its innovative yacht concept, HanseYachts combines individuality, quality and design with safety and an excellent price/performance ratio to create an unforgettable sailing experience.
The new Hanse 630e: Germany's largest series-production yacht is nominated for the 'European Yacht of the Year 2007' award.
The new Hanse 630e has been nominated for the coveted 'European Yacht of the Year' award in the category of sailing yachts longer than 15 metres.
Clean lines.
The most obvious features of the Hanse 630e, the newest yacht in the premium segment, are the clean hull lines and the tidy deck. Halyards, control lines and sheets are hidden away below deck, the hydraulic-electric powered jib furler for the self-tacking jib is embedded in the bow, and the high quality panorama windows in the cabin roof plus all hatches are integrated flush with the deck. Yet the orderly scheme on deck is more than just an optical enhancement - it has a strong practical benefit: all essential functions can be easily operated from the helm. This allows the Hanse 630e to be sailed quickly and safely, even with a small crew.
Large scale but easy to sail.
During development of the Hanse 630e, special attention was paid to achieving optimum sailing performance: a T-shaped keel and a high performance steering system with self-aligning rudder bearings provide pure feeling and fast and balanced sailing in all conditions. A lifting keel is available as optional equipment, varying the draft between 7'2" and 11'7" (standard: 9'7").
The state of the art rig with swept-back spreaders and externally positioned shrouds further enhance the excellent sailing characteristics and improve the Hanse 630e's impressive static strength. As an extra feature, the externally-positioned, carbon fibre-reinforced chain plates effectively increase and contribute to a maximum utilization of space below deck.
The premium class characteristics of the new Hanse flagship are demonstrated by four optional cabin combinations: high-quality materials like Corian on all work spaces and luxurious wooden surfaces are standard features. Partly free-standing, adjustable leather chairs provide a level of convenience previously unknown for this type of yacht. The linear, bright interior is an additional highlight of Hanse's successful design philosophy. One special feature is the free-standing working space in the galley.
High performance.
With the base price of 695,000 ex boatyard, HanseYachts has once again set a benchmark in terms of price-performance ratio. The Hanse 630e is entirely manufactured from high quality epoxy: the result is a light, extremely strong and spacious construction which makes optimal use of techniques and materials from international regatta sport. And as with all Hanse yachts, the Hanse 630e bears the GL certificate from "Germanischer Lloyd" - a certification which represents independent quality and safety standards.
